Bid. Experience. Impact.

That’s the opportunity online auction site Charitybuzz is offering for a unique, exclusive experience to meet 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah.

This private meet and greet is part of a private tour of Coolmore’s Ashford Stud in Kentucky. American Pharoah retired there in 2015. The experience can be shared with up to eight people, and the tour of the Stallion Complex includes “backstage” areas the general public doesn’t see.

An intimate, private and personalized 30-minute viewing of American Pharoah highlights this one-of-a-kind experience to be up close and in private with one of the great Thoroughbreds and racing legends of the modern era. The power of experience becomes a memory that lasts a lifetime.

Schedule dates for this tour are between Jan. 1 and June 1, 2021, and auction bidding ends Aug. 6, 2020.

AMERICAN PHAROAH HIGHLIGHTS

The 2015 racing season was one for the ages. The excitement and buildup to American Pharoah becoming the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years was electric. Following a pair of graded stakes wins as a juvenile, American Pharoah dominated the Rebel (Grade 2) and Arkansas Derby (Grade 1). That made him a heavy favorite to start his sophomore season.

The Kentucky Derby (Grade 1) was next, and American Pharoah won the Run for the Roses with a stalking trip as a slight 3/1 favorite. More than 170,000 fans attended the Kentucky Derby that year, setting records for wagering and attendance at Churchill Downs.

American Pharoah then won the Preakness (Grade 1) by seven lengths at 4/5 odds, and the buildup to the Belmont Stakes (Grade 1) and making history as the 12th Triple Crown winner was all the buzz. He didn’t disappoint, winning the Belmont by more than five lengths as the 3/5 favorite and capturing the Triple Crown.

American Pharoah would then win the Breeders’ Cup Classic (Grade 1) by more than five lengths at Keeneland in Kentucky.

He went on to win 2015 Horse of the Year honors and finished his career winning nine of 11 starts. In all, he earned $8.65 million on the racetrack.
